| about me

Since I was young I've loved creating and exploring the ideas of creation. I'm happiest when making and when I can help and educate people through making. The definition of a maker according to Amanda:

A person that creates something of value to an audience as small as one; a part of who someone is;

Some hobbies of mine are downhill mountain biking, mountain stream fly fishing, and visiting museums and galleries.

  • | what is information design?

    By far the most asked question.

    Simply it is the creation of communication through media.

    Information design is about creating meaningful connections for people to data that they may not have cared about before. Making the information useful and relatable while providing information that demonstrates the truth behind the data and not just manipulating it to suit a personal need.

    The best design gets out of the way between the viewer’s brain and the content.
